Some love stories begin long before the wedding day, and Kristin and Christian's is one we've been fortunate enough to witness for years. We've known Christian since he was a kid, so being invited to photograph this chapter of his life made their wedding at Sowell Farms in Milton, Florida especially meaningful to us. After meeting in high school, the two built a life filled with love, laughter, and their beloved dog, Betty, who stole the spotlight of the day. We had the best time watching the beginning of an exciting new chapter for two people who truly belong together.

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!)

We met at Sowell Farms in high school at the Christmas lights. Kristin was driving through while I was working and rolled her window down to talk to me.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love?

I was searching for a big dress with pearls and after about 8 stores we stopped in Georgia. Wedding Angels was the best and listened to things I was looking for and brought out my dress! I knew the second that I put it on that it was the dress!

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?

You Are in Love by Taylor Swift! He let me choose our song completely and I knew I wanted it to be Taylor Swift.

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day:

I felt really emotional as soon as I saw her walking down the aisle and instantly became happier. -Christian

I was so happy to finally get to see him and felt relief. -Kristin

What was the most emotional part of the day for you?

My maid of honor gave me a scrapbook with little messages from people in my life and that was really special to read!-Kristin

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember?

I will always remember us getting in the carriage after the ceremony and getting to talk.

Favorite part of the Phocus Experience?

My favorite part was the Phocus team doing everything they could to make sure I was comfortable the entire day. Tim and Audrey are the sweetest people ever and were very quick to notice if anything was wrong.
