1. “Your Pinterest board is not a shot list.” We’re here to capture your day authentically—not recreate someone else’s wedding. Trust us to capture moments you didn’t even know you’d want.
2. “Running late means less time for good photos—period.” Every minute behind schedule eats into your photo time. If hair/makeup runs over, your dreamy golden hour portraits are the first to go.
3. “We can’t Photoshop your uncle out of every photo.” If someone’s important to you, remind them to smile, not photobomb, and please put down the phone.
4. “DIY weddings don’t always save money—they create stress.” We’ve watched brides hot glue table runners at midnight. Don’t sacrifice peace of mind for a 5% budget cut.
5. “The ceremony lighting matters more than your Pinterest arch.” Backlighting = glowing magic. Harsh midday sun in the wrong direction = squinting and shadows. Let us help with ceremony timing.

It’s time for us to share some heartfelt news. Effective January 1, 2026, our beloved co-owner Caleb, along with his wife,Brittany, will be stepping away from the Phocus team to pursue new passions and spend more time with family.

With this change, Phocus will no longer be offering wedding videography services starting in 2026. Caleb has been a cornerstone of our video work since he began in the wedding industry back in 2016, and while it’s hard to imagine Phocus without him, we are so excited for what this next season holds for him and his family.

To be clear—this is not a break-up. The entire Phocus crew (Tim, Audrey, Brittany, and Caleb) are still the best of friends, and this change comes with full love and support from all of us. ❤️

Thunder rolled through the sky, but not a single raindrop dared fall — just a dramatic soundtrack for a day filled with sweet, intentional moments. ⚡💕

These two made space in their timeline for the kind of couple’s portraits you dream about — tons of variety, genuine connection, and that just-married glow. ✨ They also exchanged private vows before the ceremony, a quiet, meaningful pause in the whirlwind of the day.

Spring colors, delicate parasols, and creative touches were everywhere — including one of the most fun receptions ever, thanks to a live line dance instructor who had everyone on their feet! 🪩💃

Instead of a traditional sparkler exit, they chose a joyful ceremony exit, starting their celebration right away with cheers and confetti. 🎉

I can not say enough good things about Rachel and John. These two are the definition of what a bride and groom should be like on the wedding day. From the moment I met Rachel and John, I knew their Sowell Farms wedding was going to be something special. And boy was it. These two radiate kindness, joy, and a deep love not just for each other, but for everyone around them. Their day was filled with beauty, laughter, and—yes—even a little rain, which they welcomed with open hearts. Nothing could shake their joy. In fact, the unexpected showers gifted us a rainbow, under which we captured some of the most magical moments. Surrounded by the largest gathering of guests I’ve seen, it was clear: Rachel and John are deeply loved, and their celebration was a reflection of that.
