We met Rainee and Taylor and knew right away their Lily Hall Pensacola wedding was going to be something extra special. We clicked right from the beginning. Their love, kindness and joy was simply infectious and seeing the love from all the people around them was something so sweet.
Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day:
Do a visual walk through of your timeline. Going over it in conversation is just never enough.
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video?
Getting ready with my mom, sister, and maid of honor; and the first look I had with my now-husband. Those were such tender moments and I’m excited to have them captured for a lifetime. -Rainee

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video?
Photos of the first look with my now bride and sharing our videos in front of those we love most. -Taylor
How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!)
Taylor was looking to hire for the company he worked for at the time. Rainee was just coming back from a big move from Alaska and looking for a career change. Rainee called and confirmed her interview with Taylor the day before, but no showed their first meeting. Taylor called Rainee only to find out she was 5 minutes down the road, banging on a completely different company’s front door wondering where her interviewer was. Turns out Taylor confirmed the wrong address. Taylor was in love ever since and eventually wooed Rainee with some DIY skills.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love?
I’ve always admired classic looks, and I felt like my dress embodied the classic style while maintaining a flare of my personality. The dress was as unique as me!

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
Our first dance was to John Mayer XO. This has always been our song. It’s played for every important moment, almost always coincidentally.
Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day:
I was beyond excited and overwhelmed with pride, joy, love! She looked so beautiful! It hit me that we were actually getting married! After so much planning, hardships, and changes, we were finally there! -Taylor
Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day:
I was in awe of him, he looked so handsome! I felt this sense of relief in celebration that we had finally seen this day come to pass. From this moment forward we get to spend the rest of our lives together. -Rainee
What was the most emotional part of the day for you?
Getting to finally share my vows with my husband and seeing how our union sent out a ripple effect of love to everyone there with us. There was a sense of untethered joy.
What was the most emotional part of the day for you?
Getting to see all the love in the space right before we all walked out for the ceremony was a beautiful experience. It meant the world to see everyone supporting my wife and showing her unconditional love in that moment. -Taylor

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember?
There’s too many one moments: from our first drink as a newly wed toasting with all of our friends to seeing the groom almost pass out during his vows, to listening to our closest friends/family give speeches.
Favorite part of the Phocus Experience?
The photo ops and video felt so natural. Taylor does not like photos and he was able to take photos while laughing and still enjoying himself. Tim always made the bride felt confident and comfortable. He really went out of his way to ensure that we both were taken care of.
