How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!) We met at the pool at my (Katie’s) apartment complex! Jacob was invited to a birthday party there and I was just hanging out and was asked if I wanted to stay for the party! Jacob and I were put on the same pool volleyball team.
Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? It felt right. I never imagined I could pull off a dress that beautiful, but when I was in it I just felt like it was perfect. It was a very emotional experience for me because I’d lost my grandmother three days prior, and she was the woman who took me dress shopping for every big event in my life before this.
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? Can’t Help Falling in Love by Kinna Grannis. We loved it bc it’s a beautiful take on an Elvis classic.
(For the Groom) Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day: Was probably the only time I felt nervous during the whole wedding. Heart was pounding and she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.
(For the Bride) Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day: Calm. I knew that this was my perfect person and the way he was looking at me just made me feel like I was home.
What was the most emotional part of the day for you? (bride's response) Probably the bridesmaid speeches! I know how much Jacob loves me, but I had no idea just how loved I am by this amazing group of women that I hardly ever get to see anymore!

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? The ice hidden under her dress at the guarded toss. -Jacob Either our last dance of the night or when I was reading my letter to him during the first look. -Katie
Favorite part of the Phocus Experience? How calm and relaxed our videographers were!! It was a crazy, stressful, nerve-inducing day, and our videographers were so kind and personable and had such a calming presence.
