What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? (bride's response) Mostly, the moment we first see each other at the ceremony. Also the first touch, first looks, reception are high in my list.
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? (groom's response) The brides smile
How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!) We had run into each other casually at a mutual friends house a few times, then his cousin and my good friend in high school truly introduced us and the rest is history. On our first date, I went to meet him at his apartment (I was 18 fresh out of high school, he was 25 in college) my mom flipped out on me for meeting him at his apartment, but I told her she was being over controlling, it would be fine. I’m glad I didn’t listen this once. :)
Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? I saw the style on Instagram, found it in stock in a small bridal shop 20 minutes from home, tried on the only one they had on the rack, it was my size, fit my body perfectly and I felt more confident in it than in anything else I’ve ever worn. It was meant to be.
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? We danced to Perfect x Ed Sheeran in March 2017 at the first wedding we went to together. The acoustic version is my favorite version and I feel the words suit us so well and having it in a memory from one of our first dates was also sentimental.
(For the Groom) Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day: A roller coaster of emotions I’m in love! I’m in love and I don’t care who knows it
(For the Bride) Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day: Relief and pure joy. We had just long enough of an engagement to be beyond ready for the big day by the time it came. I was proud to have him, and relieved we had made it to the big day.
What was the most emotional part of the day for you? (bride's response) (Not on any official footage) but shortly after my photog/videog team left, we had a last dance. DJ started our last dance song, we had our moment and last dance and then walked out to everyone (orchestrated by Lynde) in a last minute unplanned send off. That’s also a huge memory of the night I will never forget.
What was the most emotional part of the day for you? (groom's response) Seeing my bride, the most beautiful woman, at the end of the aisle
What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? Hard to pick just one! The crowds at the restaurant/beach cheering my nervous self on as I approached my soon to be hubby at the end of the aisle. And that moment when we saw each other.
Favorite part of the Phocus Experience? Can’t remember his name, but one of the videographers was very kind often making sure I didn’t need anything/offering drinks when I was very busy - that is so appreciated!!
