Have you ever come across a couple and just knew they were meant for each other? It was almost as if the universe pulled these two souls together, despite all they have been through in the past! We always say, "When it's meant to be, it will be, no matter what!" and this resinates so true for Bobby and Jessica. The love they have for one another is one that little girls' always dream about having one day! I'm talking "growing old and grey together while sippin' sweet tea on the front porch" kind of love! These two lovebirds really had our hearts melting all day long!
Number One Tip for Future Phocus Brides to Consider:
"Have a list of pictures you’d like to make sure you get. Let your Phocus team do their job. They have your best interest at heart!"-Jessica
Jessica makes a great point! We are always down to try new things, and we want to make sure you are getting every picture you want, and then some! ;) In this particular photo, we presented the idea to Jessica and she was down for it! We always make sure everyone is comfortable with our ideas first, and 9 out of 10 times everyone is down for it!
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?
"Jessica walking down the aisle is the moment! (The photo I want to see the most is her back at those barn doors!!)."-Bobby
Bobby's wish is our command!! Jessica looked SOOOO gorgeous in her dress, and we all knew just how important this shot was for Bobby! The one and only shot he wanted! LOL!
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?
"The look on his face when he turned around to see me coming down the aisle!" -Jessica
We were all eager to see this moment unfold before our eyes, because Bobby held his composure all day long while having that "calm and collected" attitude about seeing his bride.
Unfortunately for Bobby, his composure did not last long as soon as he saw Jessica walking down the aisle towards him. All his emotions came flooding in all at once, and we all knew it was going to happen! We may or may not have placed bets on Bobby! ;)
How did you two meet?
"I was hired at the company where Bobby worked. To introduce himself, one day before I came in, he hid a note in my work space that simply said “It”. He then later asked me if I had found it?. After being somewhat concerned I finally did. Then one day when he was out of the office, I returned the favor with an office full of post it notes that all said “it”. We remained coworkers for some time and eventually became great friends. The friendship bloomed into the discovery, that we are soulmates. Neither of us realized how much that little post it note was really saying. He most definitely is my IT!" -Jessica
If this doesn't scream "fate" I don't know what would!! I mean come onnnn! Bobby made the first move without really knowing he was talking to his soulmate! When Jessica and Bobby finally had a moment alone without all the craziness of the wedding day, they both were overwhelmed with emotions of the reality of finally being one. I won't lie...their tears brought me to tears, and I'm not ashamed to say it!;)

"The dress is from The Bridal Suite! He loves my back so I knew I wanted it to be backless!"
Jessica and this dress!!! Stunning does NOT even begin to scratch the surface! She absolutely owned her dress, and made everyone's jaw drop in the process. She was a literal QUEEN!

"If you’ve ever listened to the words of that song, it encompasses the way Bobby feels in a nice package and he sings it to me all the time"-Jessica
During the Gillett's first dance, they both got lost in their own timezone and forget that all eyes were all them. They were so lost in each other's eyes, that everyone else in the room faded away. Bobby being who he is kept Jessica laughing, and made sure she remembered this moment forever. We could not help but fall more in love with them as the night went on.
Describe the BRIDE on your wedding day!
"PERFECTION. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN I HAVE EVER SEEN! As I turned around to see her for the first time, she was so radiant and glowing that she made the sun seem dim. Her hair couldn’t have been more majestic, that dress on her was like magic to a wand, and her herself... oh my! Her eyes captured my soul allowing mine to dance with hers as she came down the aisle and my heart was completely shreddable as she held it in her hands."-Bobby
Bobby's response to our question was everything we could have hoped for and more!! He left us speechless! Jessica was a GODDESS, and I think Bobby would agree! ;) Bobby just couldn't keep his eyes off of her!
Describe the GROOM on your wedding day!
"He’s the most handsome man I’ve ever seen. His voice calms me, his laugh is infectious, his hand in my hand his warm and wonderful. As I was walking up to get set in place, I noticed all our guests ; however the moment he turned around and our eyes met, he was all I saw . Our eyes locked and he was the lighthouse keeping me safe and guiding me home. I had to keep reminding myself of my instructions to “walk slow” because I wanted to get to him as fast as I could!"-Jessica
It is very apparent that Jessica and Bobby were feeling the same thing as their eyes made contact down that aisle! Again we scream, SOULMATES!!! It was just Bobby and Jessica at the ceremony, and that is what love is all about! Every high and every low will be faced as one from here on out, and they will never have to face it alone!
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"The anticipation of seeing Jessica for the first time as my back is to the crowd and her, then seeing her as I turned around and she started gliding down the aisle. The whole ceremony, and finally getting to have these moments."-Bobby
With every second that passed with Bobby's back turned towards Jessica, I could see his breathing getting deeper with every breath. The anticipation was eating him alive, but as soon he turned around all those emotions exploded out of him, and he smiled from ear to ear!
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"Our eyes locking for the first time when he turned around."-Jessica
Bobby and Jessica ended up throwing in a "first not look" right before the ceremony, and Bobby was not a huge fan of the idea at first, but he said "Jessica wants to do it, so I will do it", what a gentleman! As we got everyone where they needed to be, Bobby had a moment where we could see the nerves, but as soon as their hands touched on the other side of the door, all those nerves faded away. Witnessing this final moment of being each other's fiancé was so beautiful to capture! The "first not look" is for any last words before they finally get to see each other down the aisle, and we are SO glad they threw this in at the last minute because now they will have this moment to share forever.
What is ONE moment of your wedding you will always remember?
"Do we have to pick 1? If we have to pick one, it would be when we kissed during our exit and the fireworks went nuts and we were apparently blissfully unaware. We did come to our senses and finally move!"-Jessica
Jessica and Bobby's exit is by far, one of my favorite exits yet!! Between the LED balloons, and the firework fountains it was incredible!! The best part was when Bobby and Jessica were between the fountains, and then they literally started to explode like crazy! No one knew they were going to do that, and it shocked them both so they just froze! Reality then set in that she was in a dress, and they bolted!! But hey, it made for an amazing picture!!
Favorite Part of the Phocus Experience?
"All of it! You guys kept us on track, dealt with all our shenanigans (Bobby’s mostly) and still managed to capture our day. #teamgirlsrule!"-Jessica
Overall, the Gillett's wedding day could not have gone any better than it did! It was very laid back, and honestly just a great time of the two families coming together to celebrate Bobby and Jessica finally allowing fate to do it's thing! ;) We loved every part of the day, and couldn't have wished for a more perfect day for them!
