The Brown's wedding day was the picture perfect intimate wedding! This day was a long time coming to say the least, almost 30 years to be exact! They were surrounded by all of their closest friends and family to celebrate their gorgeous wedding day!

Amanda could not have said it any better! Sometimes things will pop up on your wedding day that were definitely not planned, but just take a deep breath and take one thing at a time! You don't want the memory of your wedding day to be of you stressing the whole day!
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?

They say practice makes perfect! I can guarantee Amanda and Josh have this dance move down now! ;) All the laughters that came along with the failed attempts to get this down were worth all the struggles!
How did you two meet?
"We were in the same 2nd grade class, and went through all of grade school together."-Amanda
Amanda and Josh have known each other for nearly 30 years!! They both have been through many ups and downs, battling illness, and moving away to try and find a life for themselves. Fate had another idea which brought these two back together many years later, and they finally gave into fate! ;)
Tell us about THE dress!
"The dress was created by designer, Madison James. It was champagne and ivory in color and had a romantic old-Hollywood vibe with soft lace and floral appliqués."-Amanda
Saying that Amanda slayed her dress just really does not do enough justice!! As soon as she walked down that aisle jaws dropped, especially Josh's!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST DANCE SONG?: Tennessee Whisky
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT SONG?: "Josh is a bourbon + whisky fan and we both love the song!"-Amanda
You can see that Amanda and Josh couldn't keep their eyes off each other the whole time! Even though they were center of attention, there was no one around for miles in their world.
Describe the BRIDE on your wedding day!
"There are very few things in life that turn out to be better than what you could ever imagine.
There are very few things in life that the picture painted by your imagination is outshined by reality… seeing her for the first time on our wedding day was one of those occasions."-Josh
I don't think any words of mine could top what Josh said! He put our question into a whole other perspective, and we are loving it!!
Describe the GROOM on your wedding day!
"Walking down the aisle, I was calm as soon as I saw him. Seeing him all dressed up on our wedding day, I thought he looked like the super handsome stud muffin that he is!"-Amanda
Josh was looking real sharp on his wedding day, and by that smirk, I think he already knew that!
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"Saying our vows, because that’s the moment we’ve been waiting for."-Josh
Amanda and Josh's love story did not start out like a normal love story. Amanda actually thought Josh was trouble in 2nd grade, and drew an "X" through his face in her yearbook! After many years of adulting, and trying to navigate their way through this crazy world, fate brought these lost souls back together! Eventually, Amanda drew a heart around that yearbook picture, and the rest is history! ;)
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"Saying my vows, because I have known this man for almost 30 years, and this is the part where I get to keep him for all the rest of my days."-Amanda
We always love hearing the intimacy, and vulnerability in personal vows because it really shows who our couples are, and how much they mean to each other. Amanda and Josh poured their hearts out to each other, and you could hear how genuine their love is for each other.
What is ONE moment of your wedding you will always remember?
"Looking into each others eyes as we said our vows. That was a very powerful moment."-Amanda
Favorite Part of the Phocus Experience?
"Y’all were THE best to work with. So positive, encouraging, attention to detail in everything… I could go on! I loved the fun photo game we played at the reception, as well as the photos in the park. Your team is so easy to work with- very fun and professional. We truly cannot thank y’all enough!"-Amanda
Overall, Amanda and Josh's wedding day was very intimate, and beautiful. They were surrounded by all their friends and family that love and support this long awaited day! We were honored to be a part of such a special day for Amanda and Josh, and being able to witness their love story start a new journey together.
