I'll never forget Jeanne and Rick’s Sowell Farm's wedding! These two are the sweetest couple you’ll ever meet. Jeanne's is one of a kind. She's thoughtful, kind and so full of love. Rick is compassionate and knows exactly how to make Jeanne laugh...together, they're simply perfect. Their love for each other just shines through. Definitely do an engagement session and love story! Not only do you get the photos and video; you’ll become comfortable with your Phocus team (both the people & the style of poses) before your wedding.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video?

First looks with Rick and first looks with my boys. Rick and I went back and forth over the “do a first look or not” decision and it was a last minute change. So glad we went with it as it was super fun!! I wanted a minute with my sons and it was super special for me. -Jeanne

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!)

We met on online during COVID. After one night of chatting on the app,I gave him my number but made him go to voicemail the first time he called so I could hear his voice! We finally went on our first date about a week after meeting online and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love?

I had two completely different dresses to decide between. On the morning of our wedding & with the help of my bridesmaids, input from my hair and makeup artist Sabrina and even a nod of approval from Audrey our photographer, the decision was made with no regrets! I went with the princess feeling…lots of flow and swishing of my skirt. I felt young and beautiful!

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?

Haley Reinhart’s version of Can’t Help Falling In Love. We listened to a lot of songs to choose for our first dance and that was the one we both loved.

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day:

I was in shock by how beautiful she looked in her dress. She’s always beautiful but it still was a shock. I am glad we did the first look. -Rick

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day:

I felt excited, calm & happy all at the same time. I truly felt like I got more than I ever dreamed was possible. -Jeanne

What was the most emotional part of the day for you?

I can’t pick one moment. My brother read a poem that I will cherish. The way Rick looked at me during the ceremony. And the overwhelming amount of love I felt from everyone. -Jeanne

What was the most emotional part of the day for you?

Seeing Jeanne in her dress. I got choked up. -Rick

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember?

After the officiant pronounced us husband and wife and we turned to walk down the aisle, my oldest son spontaneously jumped up, gave me a huge hug and said you look beautiful mom.

Favorite part of the Phocus Experience?

It is hard for me to see pictures of myself; I can be so critical. What I learned, especially after our engagement session, is Phocus wants you to be happy with the experience and their product. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. And I learned something about myself during this process….take all the pictures and video. Enjoy this moment with the person that loves you. I will never get those moments back and now I have them forever!! Trust your Phocus team! They will capture the moments!
