How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!)

We met in Minnesota in July 2019. We were in high school and every 3 years, there is a huge convention for Lutheran high schoolers around the world. We were both raised Lutheran. We did not know each other at all. With over 22,000 kids in Minnesota at this convention, we met. We realized we only lived an hour and a half away from each other and we were planning on going to the same college as well. He asked me out in Minnesota and when we got back to Florida a week later, we started dating

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love?

I wanted a boho dress to match my style and I found this one on sale at a David's bridal that was shutting down. I tried on a couple dresses, but when I walked out of the dressing room with this one, my mom started crying and we knew that was the one.

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?

Bubblaine. Its a song from a Mario game and my husband likes Mario

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day:

All my stress that I had leading up to it went away.- Malachi

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day:

I was so excited that our day had finally come. I was not expecting him to cry because he told me he wouldn't, but he did cry and it made me feel very loved.-McKinna

What was the most emotional part of the day for you?

The father daughter dance. My dad was diagnosed with brain cancer about 6 years ago and I didn't know if I would be able to dance with him at my wedding. The doctors weren't thinking he would still be here today.-McKinna
