Kosechata's Sowell Farms Wedding

We met Josh and Rochelle through one of our past brides, Amanda. Any friends of Amanda's HAVE to be pretty great. Let me tell you, the moment I met Rochelle, I knew she was one of the most sweetest and caring people. And she 100% is. She is so genuine, tender hearted and always making sure you're okay. I knew right away, I wanted to be a part of their Sowell Farms Wedding.

Their family is just so special...Josh, Rochelle, Remington, Ella and of course the star of the show...Rex (Their sweet fur baby...who is TikTok famous might I add ;)

Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day:

Really soak in the day. It truly goes by so fast!

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video?

The ceremony, and the groom crying. The groomsmen were all waiting/wanting him to cry. He said he wouldn’t cry, and he sure did! Josh really doesn’t cry, and it might not sound like much, but seeing him cry in that moment made my heart full-Rochelle

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!)

Being totally transparent, we met on Tinder. We had both been in long term relationship/marriage, and honestly didn’t know what we wanted. We started talking and kinda clicked. We didn’t get to meet right away. We actually met at an early dinner date at BJ’s Brewhouse. It’s hard to explain, but it just felt so natural and easy hanging out. We kept seeing each other on dates here and there. It became quite a frequent thing, and bam… here we are today. We just kinda clicked.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love?

Oddly enough, it wasn’t anything that I had envisioned I’d wear. I wanted a traditional white dress, with a vneck lace top and I really wanted beautiful sleeves. My dress was none of those things, but I tried that dress and I just fell in love with its uniqueness. The stitching and detail were so beautiful, and my bridesmaids reactions it was just the one.

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?

The groom actually found our first dance song. Josh is from Texas and loves local Texas Bands. The Josh Abbott Band is one that Josh really likes. He came home from work one day and said, “I found our song.” The first time I listened to is I cried. It basically talks about wanting to go through life with your best friend. We truly are each others best friend (as cheesy as that sounds).

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day:

That she looked so amazing and she also thought I wouldn’t like her dress and I loved it. -Josh

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day:

Honestly, there were so many. Josh and I have been through a lot already together. A week before the wedding we weren’t even sure if we would even be able to have the wedding due to some personal things happening with family. Doing the first looked help my nerves some, but seeing him up there crying, with the big smile on his face, it was just pure happiness for me. I was so excited for us to finally be Mr & Mrs. -Rochelle

What was the most emotional part of the day for you?

During our ceremony, when Josh added in his vows that he’d love my children as his own. It took me completely off guard. We had talked about doing silly vows. Once I hear that, I just welled up inside. Entering the dating world is scary after a divorce, let alone as a single parent. For him to have added those vows just made the day even more perfect. I also will add Josh’s dance with my daughter for me pretty good too! -Rochelle

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember?

The first look, and being able to have that moment together before we shared it with everyone else.

Favorite part of the Phocus Experience?

We loved having Phocus on our side. Everything was just so easy. As you’re enjoying your day, they are capturing every single moment. I honestly had no idea what I was suppose to be doing and they really guided me and made me feel very comfortable.
