Shane & Ellys

Groom kissing bride face in front of a barn.

To say that love radiated off of these two is an understatement. Just looking through their photos, you can see the love they have for one another. Ellys was nothing but smiles all day while Shane definitely couldn't keep his eyes off of her.

Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day: Really think about what pictures you want to take and who you want to take them. You will be pulled in so many directions with everything moving so fast, that you will have no time to think about everything you actually want to capture.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? A picture of me and my girls with their bows that I forgot to ask about. I also wanted to see my train more because it was gorgeous and felt we missed out on so much because hair and make up ran behind. Besides all of that, I really want to see Shane's face when he saw me for the first time and our couple pictures. -Ellys

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? Seeing Ellys for the first time. Seeing the pictures of all the tables we ran to. -Shane

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!) We met at work on Ellys' first day. Our night manager Jeff introduced us when Shane walked into the office. He said, "This is Shane my loader..." He said more about what Shane did, but Ellys just looked at him in awe. After that, Shane made the first move to talk to Ellys and sent her a friend request on Facebook the 3rd day she was at work. The two of them worked in the cooler/freezer together and worked so well that no one knew they were together for the first 10 months they were together.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? I loved the feel of the dress and how it fit me, but I also knew that it was still missing something. I added custom sleeves that were sewn to the dress and my seamstress created a huge bow for the back of my dress because I LOVE BOWS! I had no idea what my dress was until 3 days before I got married as every appointment we were changing something. It was at my last appointment that I truly felt like a bride and loved myself in my dress.

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? We had a choreographed dance that was a combination of Tough Ones by Cooper Alan and Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye. Ellys chose Tough Ones because it reminded her of everything we have been through in our relationship. We have been through multiple family/friend deaths and have worked 20 hour shifts back to back when Covid came through. Shane chose Ain't No Mountain High Enough because we conquer every obstacle we encounter and become even closer together as a couple.

Give us allll the choreographed dances pleaseeeee! We absolutely love them for these two reasons....1) It makes for the best photos and 2) it gives the couple a chance to spend extra time together during their planning season learning their wedding dance together. How special is that??

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day: Before I saw her, I was emotional because I never thought this day would happen. To love someone and have them love me back for exactly how I am. When I turned around and saw her, I didn't notice the giant bow on her dress. I didn't see it until after the ceremony. When I saw her, all I felt was excitement because I was finally able to marry her and start the beginning of the rest of our lives. -Shane

Groom's reaction to bride walking down the aisle

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day: After a year and a half of waiting, I wanted to run down the aisle. I was so excited to marry him and start our lives together. When I saw him, I was hurt because I wanted him to cry. I had put it in my head that he was going to cry, that when he didn't, I wanted to tell him to redo it. LOL I knew he was nervous and I knew he was emotional because we had talked about how he was feeling prior to our big day, but I still loved our moment either way and I wouldn't change it because it was ours. -Ellys

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? I had many emotional moments that are pretty equal with each other, but if I had to pick, my most emotional moment of the day was my first look with my dad. I could not have pictured a more perfect moment for us and being able to spend his birthday with him made it that much better! -Ellys

This was one of the most emotional father/daughter looks we have had lately and I am all about it! The joy on Ellys' dad's face was priceless and one for the books honestly. Moments like these remind me of why we do what we do. In all the joyful moments, sad moments, and all the in-between, we get to capture it all.

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? I had two moments, the first one was when I danced with my mom and the second one was my private dance with Ellys. When she got emotional, it didn't help my emotions. -Shane

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? THE FAT SUIT!!! Shane mentioned early in our relationship that he would leave me if I ever got fat. It is not like that anymore and is an inside joke between us, so I had to put it in the wedding!

Talk about a show stopper. There was not a serious face in the room when Ellys came out in that fat suit. Everyone was belly laughing and couldn't stop smiling. Definitely a moment to remember!

We were so excited to be a part of Ellys and Shane's wedding day. There were so many moments of the day that we got to capture that I know they will cherish forever!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Tucker!
