Sanchez Wedding

Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day: Enjoy every moment of the day even with the stress. It flies by.

We love every moment of the day. From the getting ready, to the father\daughter first looks, to the ceremony and reception, but some of my favorite moments from the day is having those one on one moments with the bride and groom. Getting them together with no distractions, and letting them just be them is something I will always love getting to capture.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? The first look! -Guillermo

Guillermo and Joys first look was nothing but beautiful! The joy (pun intended) on his face was so sweet, it was something out of a movie.

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!) We met at work. We were hesitant to date because of the work situation, but ultimately after several months of chemistry we couldn’t deny we went on our first date and the rest is history.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? When I saw the dress it seemed good for a beach ceremony. The second I put it on I felt the emotions and knew it was the one. The sparkle, the flowy train blowing in the breeze, the champagne color - all these details seemed perfect for the beach wedding we dreamt of.

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? The song we chose was Promise (by Romeo Santos and Usher). The words describe our feelings of promise for our forever with each other. It also brings together our two worlds/cultures being half English, and half Spanish.

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day: During our first look I didn’t know what to expect. I purposely looked from bottom to the top. I first saw this beautiful white tule flowing through the wind to this off white sparkly bodes, to my wife’s beautiful blue eyes, to curly blonde hair. A look that I never have never seen for my wife. She was so gorgeous. From there my body could not help to cry to know that I am going to marry the most beautiful women in the world. -Guillermo

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day: Seeing my handsome groom standing there in his royal blue suit and Jordan’s anticipating my arrival filled my heart with so much love and happiness. The moment I’d been waiting for, the time to become his wife, was finally happening. I couldn’t wait to give him the biggest hug and kiss and share the excitement together.--Joy

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? The vows. To hear him speak those words about our future and our love was beyond touching. Then to be able to tell him how much I love him and my promises to him: it was hard to hold back the tears of happiness. --Joy

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? Watching the bride coming the down the aisle with her father. Realizing that the moment is becoming reality knowing that my mind, heart and soul was okay to be with this person for the rest of my life. -Guillermo

There are so many emotional parts of the day. Whether it's the father seeing his daughter on the wedding day or the groom saying his vows for the first time during the ceremony, you never know where the emotions are going to be.

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? There are so many moments that we will treasure. The grooms stand out moment was the bride coming down the aisle. The brides moment was watching her groom dance down the aisle and feeling overwhelming love for his fun, confident side.

Favorite part of the Phocus Experience? Phocus was amazing to work with. Tim and Caleb were personable, professional, made us laugh and through the threat of hurricane and an actual fire they never skipped a beat. We chose Phocus for their creative, artist photos and I can’t wait to see our results.

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Sanchez! We wish you so many years of happiness together!!
