Marissa + Ryan
Marissa and Ryan are the type of people that you can look at and know that they were meant to be! Their chemistry was intoxicating, and we couldn't help but adore every second they shared together! We honestly did not even have to help direct what to do, because they naturally did it on their own! We were just there to capture the fun! ;)
Number One Tip for Future Phocus Brides to Consider:
"Just go with it! The day goes by so SO fast! Have fun and enjoy it!"-Marissa
We could not agree more!! This answer seems to be a very common one from our newlyweds, because the day goes by faster than you can blink!
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?
"First Look."-Marissa/ Ryan
We absolutely ADORED Ryan and Marissa's first look! It was one of the most emotional moments that we've been a part of. Ryan and Marissa have known each other since they were kids, so this day was a long time coming! As soon as Ryan saw his soon-to-be bride, he could no longer hold back his emotions! It was such a special moment to capture for the both of them.
How did you two meet?
"We grew up together! We became friends in middle school, and continued being in the same friend group through out high school!"-Marissa
You would think the chance of finding the love of your life when you are covered in pimples, and the boys still have cooties would be very slim! Ryan and Marissa defied the odds, and became that one in a million chance!
Tell us about THE dress!
"It was truly meant to be. I went to look with my cousin, just to “browse.” Abbot's Bridal had a room with the “last dress” (the dresses weren’t made anymore so it was that one size and that is it.) My cousin pulled the dress for me, and I just knew it was the one!"-Marissa
Marissa's dress really was the PERFECT one for her! It fit her like a glove, and she really shined in her dress! We loved all the little details on her dress, and it had the detachable sleeves so it was like two dresses in one!
Describe the BRIDE on your wedding day!
"I cried, I think that sums it up!"-Ryan
You know the groom is feeling all the emotions, and reality is setting in when those tears start to fall! Marissa was absolutely gorgeous so we are not surprised she brought Ryan to tears!
Describe the GROOM on your wedding day!
"He was perfect. I loved the vulnerability that he showed!"-Marissa
Ryan was a mix of emotions before he laid eyes on Marissa. He was nervous, excited, and ready to "wife her up" as he would say! ;)
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"First look!" -Marissa/ Ryan
This moment was just shared between the two of them, and they truly got to soak in every overwhelming emotions, and reality set in that their wedding day was finally here! After originally planning to get married in Ohio, and throwing a pandemic in the mix, it lead Marissa and Ryan to coming to San Destin to get married! Everything will always fall right into place when the time is right, and the Lewis's wedding day was nothing short of perfect!
What is ONE moment of your wedding you will always remember?
"Having our closest friends and family there to support us!"-Marissa/ Ryan
After the ceremony, Marissa and Ryan wanted to have the all their family and friends join them in a wishing the newlyweds their best wishes by throwing seashells into the ocean. It was such a fun moment to capture while the bride and groom soaked in every second of their day that they could! What better way to celebrate your wedding day, than with your family and friends celebrating with you!
