We seriously could NOT wait for the day that Patrick and Lana finally tied the knot! They always say 3rd times the charm, and I think it's safe to say that everyone was BEYOND ready for their wedding day to come! Patrick and Lana planned on three separate occasions to make their wedding happen, but life had other plans! Even though that can be infuriating, we always say that everything happens for a reason! The wait was 100% worth it, and it was such a beautiful day from start to finish!
Number One Tip for Future Phocus Brides to Consider:
"Hire a day of coordinator, and do the extra time with the photographer before wedding ceremony, worth it!"-Lana
We came across a little snag that Mother Nature threw our way, and those time changes that totally slipped everyone's mind when sitting down with Patrick and Lana about their timeline. Last minute, we had to figure out how we could make everything happen while chasing the sun, so Lana and Patrick decided to do a first look. It was a little hiccup, but it worked out amazingly! This is a perfect example of things popping up that you can't prepare for, but in the end, we all came together as a team and did the dang thing! Also I have to give a huge shoutout to Lana's wedding planner, Nicole! We worked with "Elegant Pairings: Events by Nicole", and the day went perfect! Not a moment or detail was missed, and she made the day go flawless! We look forward to working with her again soon, because we know she will do everything she can to make to day go effortlessly.
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?

If there is one thing I could say about Patrick is that he has so much love for his guys. There was no denying that it meant the absolute world to him that he could have his brothers standing by his side. Not to mention, they were such a fun group of guys that kept everyone laughing, especially Patrick! They are 4 peas in a pod!
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?
"The first look, and pictures with all 3 kids."-Lana
If anyone has any children, they know how hard it can be to keep them still for longer than 2 seconds! Especially when they are younger too, but none the less, we shoot quickly and make fools of ourselves behind that camera to keep their attention long enough to make them smile! It's safe to say that this beautiful family did an amazing job, and looked good while doing it!
How did you two meet?
"We worked together at the same dance studio."-Lana
I could honestly go on and on about Lana and Patrick's relationship! There is no denying the love that these two have for one another, and if you know them I KNOW you can testify that fact. Especially when they dance together...don't even get me started on that! Watching the connection that these two share brought me to tears, because it is so genuine and makes you believe that fairytales DO exist.

We fell in love with with Lana's dress! If there was a dress based off who Lana is, it would be her dress. Every little detail was perfectly crafted to be represent she is, and we LOVED it!

I am already getting emotional just remembering Lana and Patrick's first dance. Being dancers, I already knew this dance was going to be beautiful, but once they started dancing it felt like we were all floating around that dance floor with them. Magical is the best word I can describe for this moment, but it really does NOT do justice!
Describe the BRIDE on your wedding day!
"Breathtaking! She was everything I could have ever imagined, and more!"-Patrick
Patrick told me moments before seeing his bride for the first time that he was not going to cry. It's safe to say he ate those words REAL quick! He said he never cries, but the mere sight of seeing Lana brought him to tears. She was glowing from head to toe, and truly looked like a goddess on her wedding day.
Describe the GROOM on your wedding day!
"My perfect man in every way!"-Lana
Patrick showed up and showed out for his wedding day! He was very calm and collected, and you could see he was trying to do everything he could to help to make sure their wedding day went perfectly! It's very rare that we see a groom so invested
in every little detail of the day, but it was so sweet to see how much he truly cared about everything!
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"First look and walking down the aisle! The first look was emotional, because we FINALLY made it to this day! Every emotion we have for each other came to the surface all in one moment. Walking down the aisle was emotional, because seeing every person you love in one spot feels magical."-Lana
So I've touched on Patrick and Lana's first look a little, but now I want to dive deep into such a special moment. Clearly, we are all very emotional people on the Phocus team, but the first look Lana and Patrick shared with each other blew everything out of the water. When we were finalizing all the details, Lana was down for doing a first look, but Patrick was a little more hesitant because he wanted to keep things traditional. There was also the worry that it would not be as intimate or emotional, but I think Patrick's mind is forever changed about that. The moment Patrick turned around, and laid eyes on Lana every emotion came rushing in all at once. After years of trying to get to this day, reality set in and there was not a dry eye in sight of this moment. I will never forget this special memory for the rest of my life, and I know Lana and Patrick won't either.

I could honestly go on for hours on how this day was perfect, with the most amazing people, but I will not do that to you guys. Lana and Patrick will forever be apart of this family, and we know we have made friends for life. To say it was an honor to capture all of these memories is an understatement. It was truly such a big celebration to have all their friends and families in one place, and they partied all night long!
