Korrie & Dave

When I say Korrie and Dave made it a day to remember, I mean it. These two were the definition of fun, adventure and ease. I believe every wedding needs to be a day not for stress and wondering if the cake is going to show if worrying that the dress may have a few wrinkles. Honestly....the only thing worth focussing on is enjoying the day with your soon to be spouse.

Don't let the little things ruin the joy on the wedding day. Fifty years from now, none of that matters. What matters is looking back and remembering the happiest day of your life.

Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day: To be relaxed and have fun and enjoy the day!

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? The romantic couple photos.

One of my favorite parts of the day is getting the chance to take the bride and groom away for their coupled pictures together. Away from the crowd... away from any distractions and just giving them time to soak in everything that's happened so far on the wedding day.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? The bride/groom moment of us walking down the aisle. -Dave

When Dave saw Korrie for the first time on the wedding day, he was so full of happiness. As she walked down that aisle with her dad, Dave couldn't wait for that moment. It was the sweetest thing!

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!) In 2017, David and I met for the first time at work. We both were working for a pool company and working in a close-knit environment. We got to know each other pretty quickly. Little did I know that we would get to know each other in the upcoming weeks in a way that would change my life forever. David had just moved back from Arizona and I had just moved back to the area that I have lived in my whole life, and even though he was shy at first, we connected on many of the same likes and interests, as though we'd known each other our entire lives. Eventually David asked to take me out on a date and, of course, I said yes!

Just by being around these two, you can tell right away that they have an amazing friendship. Don't get me wrong...we LOVEEE the ooey gooey moments on the wedding day, but we love those best friend moments just as much. Whether it's simply laughing together or saying some inside joke only the two of you know, we want it all!

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? The dress was a “fairy princess” styles dress with all the tool and layers. Dave and I are big plant loves and the leaves with the vines and all the sparkles were amazing and perfect for me. It fit my style so perfectly against my body and was super comfortable.

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? The first dance because I felt so connected and so In love. -Dave

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? “This is what dreams are made of” by Brent Morgan because he and I are exactly what the title says. Our relationship is what both of our dreams consisted of when finding the most special person and best friend to spend our lives together with.

When Dave and Korrie shared their first dance, it was like no one was in the room. It was sweet, intimate and beautiful.

Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day: Joyful and excitement because I was so ready to say “I do” with my best friend -Dave

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day: Magical and calming nervous all at once. Being able to see him at the end of the isle was the most magical and exciting but calming moment I’ve ever felt at once. -Korrie

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? The 30 seconds before the doors opened, my stomach dropped, I was looking around for my uncle/dad as he’s parking the vehicle and I couldn’t breath. Grabbing his arm and saying hearing him say “it’s going to be okay” was the most reassuring moment I couldn’t have asked for. -Korrie

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? After all the talking and the vows and the nerves and we FINALLY got to kiss.

Favorite part of the Phocus Experience? The professionalism and communication since day one has been so perfect. The meeting on day one with the power point all the way up to the day of and constant help and communication has been amazing. The willingness to be flexible and provide the best relationship and satisfaction.

Dave and Korrie were an absolute joy to work with. From the very beginning, they were so sweet and kind and opened to anything and everything. We're so excited to share some of our favorite moments from their big day!
