Kiki + Jordan

Where do I begin with Kiki and Jordan's wedding day?!?! It was absolutely beautiful from start to finish! These two newlyweds have been through the wringer over many years of getting to their big day! Nearly a decade went by of trials that would test any relationship to a breaking point, but these two prevailed though it all and finally were able to tie the knot! ;)

Number One Tip for Future Phocus Brides to Consider:

"To completely trust your photographer, and the entire team that you hire to be apart of your day. My husband really wanted a umbrella “rain” photo but it here was no rain in sight! So they cut holes in water bottle and squirted them around us. I was nervous for this but when you allow your photographers and all your vendors TRUE creative freedom thats when you see their best work because remember, this is not just a job to them but what they chose to do everyday because they love what they do."-Jordan

I don't think we could have said it any better! Jordan is also in the wedding industry, so she knows all the ins and outs of the wedding! The pressure was there to make sure everything was done perfectly because she knew how the day should go, but it was honestly just a big celebration for all joining the day. We were honored that Jordan and Kiki trusted us to have creative freedom with our adventure side for their wedding day!

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?

"Reaction photos from the ceremony."-Kiki

Kiki has officially set the standards for all of our future grooms when it comes to your reaction at the altar! You could see just how much this moment meant to Kiki because it was all over his face. Not only did Kiki get emotional, but there was not a dry eye in sight! Including the ones behind the cameras! ;)

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos?

"Our first “not” look photos!"-Jordan

When we met up with Kiki for the first time we asked him how he was doing, and he was very relaxed, and not nervous at all! As soon as he touched Jordan's hand in their first-not-look, all of that changed! Reality came flooding in, and it finally settled in that they were FINALLY getting married today!

How did you two meet?

"We met at church and became really good friends for about 2 years before we ever started dating!"-Jordan

If you've never met either Kiki or Jordan and ran into them on the street, there would be NO denying that these two were destined for one another! The bond that these two share has been tested and tried for many years, but it only made their relationship that much stronger! They were best friends first, and the rest is history! ;)

Tell us about THE dress!

"Uhhhh she had a whole name she was so prefect!!! Francesca was the most beautiful dress, and the vail was totally princess Dianna style in length and design, my entry into the ceremony was so long just so the dress and vail had a WHOLE entrance!"-Jordan

Jordan's dress was made just for her! We could not have imagined her choosing any other dress than the one she did! It fit her style, and her personality to the tee! She looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Francesca too! ;)

Tell Us About Your First Dance!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST DANCE SONG?: "This is Why I Love You-Major"

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THAT SONG?:

"Because our hearts are intertwined in a beautiful ballet of love. This song is the narration of the cavort of our love."-Jordan

Capturing Jordan and Kiki's first dance was such a special moment to be a part of! Knowing just how long they have waited for this day only made it that much more special to not only to Kiki and Jordan, but to everyone in the room.

Describe the BRIDE on your wedding day!

"Breathe taking! Stunning! God sent! An angel! I felt like she was a queen arriving to her coronation. My Queen!"-Kiki

Jordan was absolutely jaw-dropping! All day long we couldn't hype her up ENOUGH!! The words Queen or Goddess did not even do her enough justice! She SLAYYYEDDDDD!

Describe the GROOM on your wedding day!

"Walking down that aisle to the man of my dreams was everything!! From the hat to the suit to the boutonnière tie clip, everything about him was perfect and still is!!"-Jordan

Is saying someone has "swag" still a thing?!?! If so, Kiki walked with all the swagger, and he knew it!! He looked so good in his suit, and was feeling every bit of being a supermodel!

What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?

"We wrote our own vows so we exchanging those, and the time of worship we had during the ceremony."-Kiki

Don't even get me started on Kiki and Jordan's vows!!! Forever crying over this moment!! We are suckers for those personal vows because it is literally your heart being poured out into words!

What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?

"Exchanging vows and seeing Kiki for the first time standing at the arbor because in that moment I know I was walking towards a promise that God gave me. We were watching it be brought to life right before us!"-Jordan

Jordan could not have said this any better! Watching Kiki and Jordan make eye contact from down the aisle was such a special moment to witness. There was nobody around for miles once they made eye contact from yards away!

What is ONE moment of your wedding you will always remember?

"Each moment was so significant and special we will remember them all."-Kiki/Jordan

"Dancing with my moms, and seeing Jordan come down the aisle!"-Kiki

Kiki dancing with his moms was so much fun to capture! They were all having so much fun, and it was truly a memorable moment to see Kiki having fun with his family.

What is ONE moment of your wedding you will always remember?

"That moment of making eye contact for the first time with Kiki as I walked down the aisle, I just wanted to run to him!!"-Jordan

We could see it in Jordan's eyes! She was so ready to meet her man at the altar!

Favorite Part of the Phocus Experience?

"Honestly just everything!! We aren’t just saying that because its an “easy” answer. We trust them completely because you see their heart and love for what they do behind every photo they snap. Having them be a part of our day, I knew that there wouldn’t be one detail that got missed! When you hire them you get a photographer, coordinator, cake cutter and I even got a barista cause they made sure I had coffee from the coffee car ALL night!! They truly take care of everything!"-Jordan/Kiki

The Hull's wedding day was absolutely perfect from beginning to end, and could not have gone any better than it did! It was such a big celebration for everyone who was there. We were honored to play a part in the Hull's next chapter in their life. We can't wait to be a part of many more to come!!
