How did you two first meet?
"We went to the same high school and exchanged glances every once in a while, but didn’t formally meet until our first year of college. We started working at the same clothing store “Abercrombie”. And the rest was history! " -Kara
What was unique about the venue?
"The Destin Bay House had the most gorgeous scenery! Their quaint cocktail hour had the PERFECT view of the sunset! Not to mention the pier right past the ceremony location. It was a perfect little getaway place to take Kara and Colten's couple photos!"-Phocus Photography
Tell Us About THE Dress:
"Believe it or not, there were 2. 😂 my Mother, grandmother, and 3 bridesmaids helped me pick out what I thought was the perfect white dress. A few a months before the wedding I was having major dress remorse, so my mom and I secretly made a trip to Pensacola to find THE ONE. We decided to walk into a David’s Bridal on a busy Saturday afternoon without an appointment.. They would let us try anything on, so we ordered the first dress we touched and had it shipped to her house. Little did we know the first dress my mom touched when we walked into David’s Bridal would be THE ONE. I truly felt like a princess in my non traditional wedding dress"-Kara.
What was one of your favorite moments of the day:
"Kara decided to do a "First Look" with her bridesmaids and their reaction to seeing her for the first time was PRICELESS! The fact that they had not yet seen the dress, made it even more special! Needless to say, that whole moment was nothing short than emotional!" -Phocus Photography

"Kara looked absolutely beautiful, more stunning than I could have imagined. Her dress was beautifully elegant and sparkly under the lighting, and also it fit her really well and complimented her body"-Colten

"He was excited, nervous, and very emotional all in one, which is a side I don’t get to see all the time. Even though he was an hour late to our rehearsal dinner 😉 his haircut was flawless and looked amazing. He is as I like to call him “my sexy blue eyed devil!"-Kara
What was the most EMOTIONAL part of the day and WHY?
"Walking down the isle and seeing Colten standing at the end of the alter. At that moment all eyes were on me and all of my emotions flooded over my at once and I knew everything in the world was perfect!"-Kara
Favorite Part of the Phocus Experience:
"Literally EVERYTHING! You made the whole photography process so simple, fun, and stress free. Colten and I never took professional photos together prior to our engagement photos, so we were very nervous to say the least, but you guys made the entire experience so memorable!
All of our wedding photos turned out AMAZING. The video makes me cry with joy every time I watch
