Emma & Michael's wedding felt like a dream. There were so many details from the day that made me a huge emotional wreck. From the first look Emma did with her dad, to the first time Emma saw his bride walking towards him as she walked down the aisle--there was not a dry eye in sight.

Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day: Be present. There are so many things going on but try your best to take in every moment! It flies by.
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? (bride's response) Mike’s reaction when I walked down the aisle. We chose not to do a first look and I was really excited to see what his response would be to seeing me in my dress.
What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? (groom's response) The first kiss! Or first dance.
How did you two meet? Emma googled the Naval Academy Baseball roster.. clicked on the first senior & thought “Wow, this guy is so hot”—had his name, found his Instagram, his Snapchat username was in his bio & added him. Mike immediately snapped me and said “How did a beautiful girl like you find my IG?” And I said “do you want me to be honest or do you want me to lie” & he obviously wanted me to be honest so I said “I googled the Navy baseball roster and you’re the first person I clicked on” Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? The dress I wore for the ceremony was THE dress. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted going into dress shopping but I immediately knew it was the one when I tried it on. The lace detail and fitted look just blew me away.
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? The Few Things by JP Sax. This song is simple but it says “You’re one of the few things that I’m sure of” & in a life that is totally unpredictable, God brought us together and we have always felt that since we met, this union is something we never questioned.
(For the Groom) Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day: Well to be honest I didn’t see here until she was about a third of the way down the aisle because I was emotional and nearly forgot to look up. But when I did she looked truly stunning. I felt comfortable again.
(For the Bride) Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day: It felt like coming home. In the whirlwind of wedding week, it finally felt like time stopped when I saw him and the peace I had was incredible.
What was the most emotional part of the day for you? (bride's response) The first look with my Dad was the most emotional moment. He asked to pray a blessing over me & my mom was with us. Truly an unreal moment having my Dad pray over me before he gave me away to Michael.
What was the most emotional part of the day for you? (groom's response) I was hit with all the emotion right when I got up to the altar before seeing Emma.
What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? We totally messed up our “pre-vows” lol. We had NO idea what we were supposed to say, it was hilarious. Mike was like “Yes, I do, uh I have?”
Favorite part of the Phocus Experience? Y’all have a fabulous team. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I just appreciated having amazing, genuine people on our team.
