Number One Tip for Future Phocus Couples to Consider About The Wedding Day: Make a checklist for what you need for each day. We were able to spend more time with family and friends because we luckily didn’t forget anything.

We love shooting weddings out at the Henderson. Although we're photographers based out of Pensacola, Florida, we do get the chance to travel over to Destin a lot. The gorgeous palm trees, the sunset across the water, and the beautiful landscape make for the most perfect wedding. When Alyssa contacted us and asked us to shoot her wedding, we knew right away we just had to.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? His first look (of course) - Alyssa

Groom's reactions get us every time.... BUT seeing the look on Alyssas face while she was walking down the aisle was so emotional. Just looking at her, you can see the excitement in her eyes. You know how you can just see a bride some times and know this was the moment she was waiting for. That was Alyssa. Every step towards Joshua was one step closer to that moment.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video? (groom's response) The couple photos (the photo shoot post family portraits) -Joshua

How cute are they??! The way Joshua looks at Alyssa is like something out of a movie. These two just vibes with each other all day. Like seriously... look at him checking his lady out!

How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!) We met on the Bumble app. We went on a run together as our first date shortly thereafter and have been inseparable since!

I can definitely see these two being inseparable. When you find the one, you realize how short life can be and want to spend every second of that life with that one person.With shooting over 500 weddings, we meet and capture so many different couples. Every couple with different personalities. Every couple is in a different stage of their relationship, and every couple showing their love in different ways.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love? The class and elegance of it. The dress went perfectly with my wedding and reception venue. Shout out to my niece who picked it out! - Alyssa

Alyssa's dress was sleek and elegant. It was perfect for their outdoor sunset terrace wedding. Surrounded by all their close friends and family, Alyssa and Joshua exchanged their ring, said their vows and officially became Mr. and Mrs. Maltby!

What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it? “Beyond” by Leon Bridges because we both love all of his songs!

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? First look with my dad and then walking down the aisle toward my prince :) - Alyssa

We love a good father/daughter first look. Alyssa's dad's reaction was the sweetest thing ever. Not only do we love when the grooms get that chance to see the bride, but creating those moments for the family is just as special.

What was the most emotional part of the day for you? Hearing my bride’s vows and the first look because she looked more stunning than I could have ever imagined. -Joshua

What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember? How intimate of a day we had with our most cherished family and friends.

Intimate is definitely how I would describe the day. There was such a calm and happiness to this wedding. With their closest people surrounding them, it made for the most perfect way to start their marriage.
